Moods of the Kennebunk I

I often try to represent extraordinary light in my paintings, so enjoyed the challenge of bringing to life this remarkable sky and its effect on the landscape below. I worked to get the glitter of light on the river, as well the feeling of motion in the water--the Kennebunk is a tidal river.
