Consider the Creatures

This is a piece that was done from several of my photo references combined. I have always loved hummingbirds, but had never painted one. The colors in this one caught my eye immediately, but he was hovering over different flowers. And, salmon colored geraniums are a favorite annual for the front porch of my home. I also have oak leaf hydrangeas in my yard, which are slightly indicated in the background. So, this piece would just be a compilation of some of my favorite things in God's wonderful creation.
