It started as a plein air painting of an exterior garden I saw at dusk and that had this vine growing above the door and turned out having a life of its own. It almost feels like it could just crawl out of its place. I took artistic liberties more than usual; added a few plants and discovered a hidden anchor; with a twilight sky it feels as a theater stage with lights pointing in all directions and the vegetation in a theatrical.
