Sunbathe

A recent backpacking trip through the backcountry of Yosemite earlier this spring has inspired many of my latest works. The intense runoff from the recent snowmelt brought every waterfall, river, and stream into vibrant life. Scenes like this along the rivers of Yosemite symbolized moments of rest and observation during our thirty-eight mile journey. (Oil on linen panel)
