A table of stories and tales

I made this drawing with charcoal and graphite on hot-pressed watercolor paper.

This is the scene that I found entering my favorite cafe in my city: an empty table with the leftovers of a gathering. The light coming from the window through the curtains played with the shadows and the laughs and toasts of the visitors were still there, whispering in the background of the moment. A table that might tell about the life stories of many.
