3 sisters began as a Plein Air piece at the West end of Lake Meade, NV. A storm unexpectedly developed and eventually flooded the dry wash I was painting. Keep painting ..... did a 2nd and 3rd thumbnail sketch with a photo and finished it off in the my studio.
